It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Joyce Atkins in Stockbridge, Georgia, born in Maplesville, Alabama, who passed away on January 4, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Bush and Gladys Jackson Bush Melton; and her siblings, George Frank Bush, James Curtis Bush, Virginia May Bush "June" and Gloria Ann Bush-Scott.
She is survived by: her daughter Kimberly Atkins Gramlich; her husband Jesse Ray Atkins; her daughter Leigh Neal (Dain); her son-in-law Joe Olgesby-Green (Victoria); her grandchildren, Kenneth Roberts, Andrea Pangallo (Mitch), Faith Neal and Jeremiah Olgesby-Green; and her siblings, Buddy Melton and Linda Driscoll. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
