It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Roberts (Stockbridge, Georgia), who passed away on October 5, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Mansfield and Rubye Johnson; and her son Richard Cox. She is survived by: her husband Carl Roberts; her children, Joe Cox (Jonna), Karen Elleman (Michael), Diana Schmidt, Michael Cox and Mark Roberts; her siblings, Shirley Hardy and Jimmy Mansfield; and her grandchildren, Logan Schmidt, Marlene Schmidt, Katherine Schmidt, Samantha Cox, Caschton Wilson and Evan Schmidt.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Horis A. Ward Funeral Home (376 Fairview Rd, Stockbridge, GA 30281).
