We bid farewell to Walter Ray Hinton (Stockbridge, Georgia), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 20, 2025 at the age of 99. Walter touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his grandsons, Walter Ray Hinton, Jr. and Grayson Terrett Compton (Philip Rodriguez Hinton). He is survived by: his daughter Laura Hinton Reynolds; his grandchildren, Leah Shannon Reynolds Avigdori, Richard Jackson Reynolds, Margaret Dyer, Anna Balboni, Margaret "Meg" Hinton, Susana Hinton Lambert, Charles McDaniel Lambert, Jr., Sean Walter Lambert, Jacob Neil Lambert, Fran Hinton Stafford, Captain Kenneth Stafford, Dalton Ray Hinton, Morgan Alyn Hinton, Ella Cassandra "Cassie" Hinton Elder, Mary Adelaide Elder and Elliott Bowen Elder; and his siblings, Joanne Gunner, Billy Hinton and Bob Hinton. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and even great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to continue Ray's legacy through The Measley Dollar Project, benefitting children in the Appalachian region.
