We bid farewell to Burke Edward Thompson Jr. (Stone Mountain, Georgia), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 25, 2025 at the age of 85. Burke Edward touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Burke Edward Thompson, Sr. and Ruby Estelle Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Thompson; his sons, Jonathan and Joel Thompson; his daughter-in-law Diane Thompson; his grandchildren, Rachel, Benjamin, Joelie and Jacob; and his great grandchildren, Jaylah, Caleigha, Thomas and Addilyn.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Smoke Rise Baptist Church (5901 Hugh Howell Rd, Stone Mountain, GA 30087). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
