He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Pillets and Helen Zavada Pillets; and his siblings, Daniel Pillets, Steve Pillets, Rose Marie Pillets Davis and Jerry Pillets.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Pace Pillets; his children, Karen Ann Silver (Patrick) and David Joseph Pillets, Jr. (DJ); his grandchildren, Matthew Silver (Jami), Katie Silver, David J. Pillets, III (Ashley) and Nicholas Pillets; and his great grandchildren, Camryn Silver, Leighton Silver, Matteá Silver and Ambry Pillets. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
