He was predeceased by: his mother Matilda Estelle Hines Queen; his wives, Hazel Naomi Warren Queen and Esther Mundell Thomas Queen of Virginia; his father Asa Queen; and his siblings, Jestine Queen Gaither, Charles Queen, U. Arbutus Queen Johnson Matthews, Gilford Queen, Gwendolyn Queen Pindell, Phyllis Queen Matthews and Jean Queen Goode.
He is survived by: his friends, Carrie Miller, Katherine Potts, Harry Matthews, Wilson and Emma Hebron; his children, Donna R. Queen-Williams and Daryl W. Queen (Shaveanda); his stepchildren, Bonita Phinney, Patricia Thomas, Frank Thomas (Connie), Francine Chin and Anthony Thomas; his grandchildren, Sydney, Sean and Kelsey Queen; his sister Dr. Eleanor Queen Tignor (Gregory); his sister-in-law Muriel Queen; and his godsons, Ronald Burton and Gerard Hebron. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
