She was predeceased by: her husband Herbert Garner; her brother Bennie Mitchell; and her parents, Sam Mitchell and Nell Mitchell. She is survived by: her son Chris Garner (Angela Prier); her sister Janet Corn; and her caregivers, Charlotte Collier and Sabrina Ford. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many cousins.
