She was predeceased by: her parents, John Stephens Abercrombie and Effie Bobo Abercrombie; her husband Redus Albert Carlton; and her siblings, Marvin Stephen Abercrombie, Ruth Abercrombie Murphy, Louise Abercrombie Owens and Georgia Abercrombie Jackson.
She is survived by: her sons, James Steven Carlton (Cheryl) of Stone Mountain and Kenneth Redus Carlton (Linda) of Clayton; her grandson Richard Moncus; her great grandchildren, Shawn Tison, Drake Tison and Kayleigh Moncus; and her great great grandchildren, Logan and Carson Tison.
