We are sad to announce that, on December 5, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Horace G. Deaver of Stone Mountain, Georgia, born in Murphy, North Carolina. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Deaver and Vella Deaver; and his siblings, Helen Sosebee, Geneva Haygood, Cecil Deaver and Richard Deaver.

He is survived by: his wife Hyla Azar Deaver; his children, Art Amos of North Carolina, Stacey Hostetler (Kevin) of Stone Mountain, Brian Deaver (Leslie) of Loganville and Amy Strader (Jeff) of Acworth; and his brother Carl Deaver. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
