She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew W. Attaway and Lillie B. Campbell Attaway; and her sisters, Mary Ann Attaway Baldwin and Joyce Attaway Wilkins. She is survived by: her husband Hiram C. "Sonny" Smith of Winder; her son Andrew W. "Andy" Smith of Dacula; her daughter-in-law Melissa Lee Smith of Dacula; her daughter Mary Katherine "Kathy" Smith Reynolds of Dacula; and her brother Jerry Attaway of Loganville.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Wages and Sons Funeral Home - Stone Mountain Chapel (1040 Main St, Stone Mountain, GA 30083). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at the Melwood Cemetery (5170 E Ponce de Leon Ave, Stone Mountain, GA 30083).
