He was predeceased by: his parents, Pauline Hardy and Ollie Hardy; and his granddaughter Jessica Clayton. He is survived by: his wife Johnnie Mae Jones Hardy; his daughters, Rebecca Randle (Richard) and Jenifer Brooker; his grandchildren, James Lemay, Rachel Brooker and Heather Brooker; and his great grandchildren, Austin Harp Jr., Ollie Clayton and Lyla Oliver.
