He was predeceased by: his parents, Coleman Sanders and Nellie Lou Snyder; his brother Cole Sanders; his parents-in-law, William Marion Guess, Sr. and Dorothy Williams Guess; and his sons-in-law, David William Fleming and Kevin Michael Croke.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Guess Sanders (Becky); his daughters, April Sanders Fleming and Rebecca Sanders Croke (Dee); his grandchildren, Alice Kingsley Croke, Andrew Harrison Croke, Tatum Jane Fleming and William Michael Fleming; his nephew Michael Sanders (Robin); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Eliza and Greer; his nephew Mark Sanders; and his great-nephews, Cole and Mason.
