With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Robert Cavender (Stone Mountain, Georgia), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Robert left this world on October 24, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Robert Cavender and Mary Nichols; and his children-in-law, Tom Cowart and Janet Cavender. He is survived by: his wife Mozelle Cavender (Johnson) of Eastanollee, Georgia; his children, Kathy Rea (George) of Gray Court, Connie Cowart of Eastanollee and Ronald Cavender (Laura) of Toccoa; his grandchildren, Jessica Leviner (Josh) of Charlotte, N. C, Ashley Rea of Gray Court, SC, Sara Loadholdt (Jeremy) of Mt. Holly, Clint Cowart (Hannah) of Hull, GA, Christopher Cavender of Kennesaw, Georgia and Amanda Cavender of Denver; and his great grandchildren, Lincoln and Henry Loadholdt.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Ginn Funeral Home (90 Church St, Carnesville, GA 30521). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Melwood Cemetery (5170 E Ponce de Leon Ave, Stone Mountain, GA 30083).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert's honor to the Wounded Warrior Project.
