She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernie Whitehead and Fannie Clancey Whitehead; her husband Charles B. Hesse; and her son Cary Hesse. She is survived by: her daughter Debra Sue Hesse of Marietta; and her sister Betty Jo Hale of Hot Springs. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.
