He is survived by: his wife Ruby Nell Whitmire Mitchem; his children, Kandy Jaugstetter (John), Todd Mitchem (Kristine) and Shannan Lovelady (Josh); his sister Betty Illa Mitchem Everett; his sister-in-law Edna Day; and his grandchildren, Maranda Garrett (Daniel), Kelsie Hays (Eric), Mitchem Jaugstetter, Kamryn Jaugstetter, Caroline Mitchem, Audrey Mitchem, Ruby Reese Lovelady, Cole Lovelady and Tate Lovelady.
