It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willie Mack Smith of Stone Mountain, Georgia, who passed away on April 9, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his wife Clara Ann Smith. He is survived by : his uncle Mack; his daughter Diane Mahaffey; his son-in-law Carl Mahaffey; his grandchildren, Nickie Smith, Susie Smith, Margie Ervin, Jamey Ervin, Christina Burroughs and Mike Burroughs; his great grandchildren, Alex Clowdus, Terry Clowdus, Hunter Allen, Emerson Ervin, Anderson Teague, Ashlyn Ervin and Cory Ervin; his siblings-in-law, Mary Katy Powell and Gary Powell; his caregiver Carol Powell; his son Derrek Smith; his grandson Dustin Jackson; and his siblings, Junior Smith, Geneva Brown, Ruth Butler and Jean Taylor.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wages & Sons Stone Mountain Chapel (1040 Main St, Stone Mountain, GA 30083). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at the Stone Mountain Cemetery.
