He is survived by: his wife Kim Weatherington Weakland; his children, Wendy Carrell (August), Sally Schoettlin, Elmer Guy Weakland, Jr. and James Weakland (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Hannah, Sarah, Jackson, Mia, Avery, Brianna, Gage, Evelyn and Grace; his great grandchild Tristan Escobar; and his siblings, Ralph Gabriel Weakland (Kathy) and Gale Thomas. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
