He is survived by : his wife Carmen Van Avery; his sons, Robert Gabriel Van Avery and David Michael Van Avery; his mother Mary Van Avery; his aunt Elizabeth McGrath; his brother Christopher Eric Van Avery (Kellie); his nephews, Crispin Van Avery and Daniel Van Avery; his father-in-law Alec Gorgan; and his sister-in-law Simona Gorgan.
