He was predeceased by : his parents, William Jackson Pitt, Sr. and Mary Frances McGee Pitt; and his siblings, Carolyn Cowart, Jacqueline Bailey and William Jackson Pitt, Jr..

He is survived by : his wife Lisa B. Pitt of Sugar Hill, GA; his daughter Lauren; his son-in-law David Moyer; his grandson Gabe Moyer of Buford, GA; and his sisters, Dianne Stovall of Newnan, GA and Faye Gilliard of Fitzgerald, GA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
