He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Gilson and Annette Gilson; his sister Yvonne Barlow; and his brother-in-law Dwyane Palmer. He is survived by: his wife Renay Palmer Gilson of Sugar Hill, GA.; his sons, Austin Gilson (Joy) of Braselton, GA and Tyler Gilson (Taylor) of Jefferson, GA; his grandchildren, Gunner, Ryder, Emmy Lou and Rowdi; his sister Debbie Fowler of Manchester, GA; his nephews, Randy Barlow (Karen) of Warner Robbins, GA and Billy Barlow (Pam) of Hampton, GA; his siblings-in-law, Sherlene Voyles (Danny) of Stone Mountain, GA and Trent Palmer (Linda) of Buford, GA; and his close friend Trotter Smith of Dahlonega, GA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and numerous other beloved friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Forsyth County Humane Society in memory of Jeff Gilson.
