She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude H. Smith and Esther Leah Bruce Smith. She is survived by: her husband Dwight Ellis Callahan; and her stepchildren, Kevin Callahan (Stacie), Joseph "Joey" Callahan (Shanea) and Emily Yarbrough (Tim). She is also survived by nine grandchildren.
