We bid farewell to Brenda Joyce Sims of Summerville, Georgia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 1, 2025 at the age of 77. Brenda touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Blackmon and Fannie Davis Blackmon; her husband Johhny Sims; her son Herman Hatfield; and her siblings, Betty Blackmon, Jimmy Blackmon, Max Blackmon, James Blackmon, Sammy Blackmon, Bobby Blackmon, Benny Blackmon and Ernest Blackmon.
She is survived by: her children, Timmy Hatfield and Candy; her son-in-law Josh Dawson; her sister Thelma Hatfield; her grandchildren, Tameca Lamb, Rocky Hatfield, Ryan Rowland, Abby Martenn, Destiny Brown, Bella Dawson, Ava Dawson and Joshua Dawson; and her great grandchildren, Alisha Godfrey, Layla Lee, Lakeland Martenn and Barrett Martenn. She is also survived by niece and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Coffman Funeral Home (12855 US Hwy 27, Summerville, GA 30747).
