He was predeceased by : his parents, Lawrence A. Hill and Myrtle Walls Hill. He is survived by : his children, Stacey Jones, Tracy Carter and Teddy Carter; his brother Steve Carter; his daughter Tonya; his son-in-law John Wayne Stowe; and his granddaughter Kaitlin Montgomery. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
