He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Frederick Franklin and Nettie Withrow Tench Franklin. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Franklin; his daughters, Lorie (Chad Brown) and Becky (Kevin Payton); his sister Patricia; his brother-in-law Kenny Cox; and his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Payton (Raelyn) and Makaila Noles (Levi). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
