He was predeceased by: his wife Allie Jo Hughes. He is survived by: his children, Patty Bishop (Randy Bishop), Howard Hughes Jr. (Ann Hughes) and Tammy Lau; his grandchildren, Stephanie Blackmon, Samantha Mendence (Donald Mendence), Shannon Curtis and RJ Bishop; his great grandchildren, Pierce Blackmon, Kade Blackmon, Millie Blackmon, Beckham Mendence, Kova Curtis and Rowan Curtis; his brothers, Kenneth Hughes and Anthony Hughes; and his friend Carolyn Blackmon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
