She is survived by: her husband Lamar Benson of Summerville, GA; her sister Mary F. "Cootie" Dennis of Lapine, AL; her children, Lisa Benson (Jennifer Boyd) of Summerville, GA and Jody Benson (Marian Benson) of Stone Mountain, GA; her grandchildren, Nicholas and Hailey Benson of Stone Mountain, GA; her stepgrandson Tyler Guidot of Lawrenceville, GA; and her caregivers, Stephanie, Mel and Sandy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
