He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest W. Stephens and Pearlie Langdale Stephens; his wives, Donna Stephens and Edna Stewart Stephens; his children, Billy E. Stephens, II and Lori Stephens; and his siblings, Rayford "Pug" Langdale, Ardella Paulk and Ruth Stephens Causey.
He is survived by: his daughter Tammie Whitley (Eli). He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Banks Funeral Home (210 N Main St, Sylvester, GA 31791). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Wright's Chapel Church (1550 Wrights Chapel Rd, Sumner, GA 31789). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at the Wright's Chapel Cemetery Wright's Chapel (1550 Wrights Chapel Rd, Sumner, GA 31789).
