He was predeceased by: his son Robert Caverly; his parents, Elliott Creel and Ione Ferguson Brown; and his sister Betty Holbrook. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Bandy Brown of Suwanee; his sons, Gary Caverly (Terri) of Maryland, Mark Brown of Dahlonega, GA, Scott Caverly (Janet) of Smiths, AL and Jeffrey Brown (Beth) of Loganville, GA; his daughters-in-law, Fay Caverly and Vicky Stallings; his grandchildren, Tina, Mary, Kristeena, Savannah, Joshua, Kayla and Dustin; and his brother Jack Brown Jr. (Marilyn) of Lake Jackson, GA. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
