He was predeceased by : his parents, Ben Hill Rickett and Ruby Anderson Rickett. He is survived by : his wife Patsy Brumbelow Rickett; his daughter Kimberly; his son-in-law Michael Johnson; and his brothers, Don Rickett, Benny (Wanda Rickett) and Ronnie (Rita Rickett). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
