Yves Baoyi Shen Obituary
We announce the death of Yves Baoyi Shen of Suwanee, Georgia, who passed away on July 12, 2026, at the age of 89. Yves will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Yves will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Yves will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Yves’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his wife Cecelia Wu; and his parents, Wen-Ming Zhang and Huai Zu Shen. He is survived by: his children, Theresa Shen, YunRu Shen and WenRu Shen; and his grandchildren, Lucas Jansenson and Sophie Jansenson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Yves' memory to support the Haiti Twinning Medical Mission of the Catholic Church of St. Monica.
