It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annie M. Armstrong (Swainsboro, Georgia), born in Macon, Georgia, who passed away on May 21, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Annie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Annie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Armstrong and Willie Mae Armstrong; and her sister Essie Mae Daniels Twyne. She is survived by: her husband Arthur Simmons; her son Darrell Ford (Lashanda); her siblings, Geraldine Giles (Tommy), Sabrina Armstrong (Tony Woods), Valerie Moses, Jerry Armstrong Jr. (Linda) of Soperton, GA and Jerry Armstrong Milledgeville (Susan); her granddaughter Yomenica Ford; and her great grandchild Ke'yonni Kelsey Augusta Ga. She is also survived by aunts, uncle, nieces and nephews.
