It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby G. Marsh of Swainsboro, Georgia, who passed away on November 8, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Bobby may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Bobby touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlie Lee Marsh and Sara Rich Marsh; and his son Billy Gene Marsh. He is survived by: his son Bobby Joe Marsh (Tina) of Swainsboro; and his sister Lucy Amerson of Swainsboro. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Chapman Funeral Home (427 N Main St, Swainsboro, GA 30401). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
