He is survived by: his wife Jean Akridge Henry of Swainsboro; his children, Teresa Henry Dixon (Andy) of Swainsboro and Lynn Edenfield (Diane) of Swainsboro; his grandchildren, Chesley Dixon (Bridget) of Swainsboro and Kristy Wimberly (Alf) of Swainsboro; his great grandchildren, Cooper Riner, Paxton Dixon, Cannon Dixon, Brooks Dixon of Swainsboro, AnnaKade Clemens and Allison Durden (Ryan) of Swainsboro; his niece Sandy Cato (Dairen) of Louisville; his caregiver Topekia Carswell of Swainsboro; and his siblings, Robert Henry Jr. of Swainsboro, Lucille Edenfield of Swainsboro and Ann Akridge (Garland) of Twin City. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapman Funeral Home (427 N Main St, Swainsboro, GA 30401). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Shady Baptist Church. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
