It is with sadness that the passing of Dovie Bush of Swainsboro, Georgia is shared. Dovie, born on January 6, 1950, passed away on September 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Ezra Bush and Lucille Giles Bush; and her siblings, Patricia Moseley, Buck Bush, Leroy Bush, Kenneth Bush, Dalton Bush and Glynn Bush.
She is survived by: her daughters, Chris Pritchard (Marty) of Swainsboro and Wendy Hadden of Dublin; her sister Geraldine Kersey of Kite; and her grandchildren, Jodi Singletary (Guy), Baron Pritchard (Whitney), Barrett Pritchard, Benett Pritchard (Stephanie), Emma Pritchard, Shae Bradley and Davie Register (Cartar). She is also survived by three great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapman Funeral Home (427 N Main St, Swainsboro, GA 30401). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
