She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Hicks and Margaret Carroll Clarkson (Milan "Bud"); her grandson Nicholas Ashton Guthrie; and her brothers, Jimbo Carroll and Ronnie Hicks.
She is survived by: her children, Sheree Tuttle (Sean) of Pooler, GA, Angela Guthrie (Maurice O. Reese) of Louisville, Melva Nunn of Swainsboro, Tiffany Edenfield (Andy) of Swainsboro and Daniel Nunn (Samantha) of Atlanta; her sister Carol Ann Arrington (Robbie) of Swainsboro; her uncle Billy Carroll (Edna) of Birmingham, AL; her close friends, Judy B. Lewis and Brenda Kirby; and her pet Rue. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Chapman Funeral Home (427 N Main St, Swainsboro, GA 30401). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
