We announce the death of Hazel Griner Boyd of Swainsboro, Georgia, who passed away on July 22, 2026, at the age of 100. Hazel will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Zelmer Franklin Griner and Odessa Johnson Griner. She is survived by: her husband Claude Kirskey Boyd; her brother Robert "Bob" F. Griner; her niece Linda Watson (Joe); her nephew Craig Griner (Lisa); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Brianna Hendrix (Alec), Amanda Telgen (Robert), Jack Hendrix, Darin Griner (Hillary) and Jason Griner; and her close friends, Marsha Bell (Cleve), Charlie Bell (Sara), Andrew Bell, Matthew Bell (Jamie) and Tillman Bell.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Trinity Baptist Church of Moultrie.
