He is survived by: his wife Alma Jean Parrish Boyette; his children, James Cohen Boyette, Jr., Jason Owen Boyette, Terry Grimes, Denise Boyette Brown, Sonya Boyette Lane (Perry) and Teresa Grimes Pounds (Randy); his brother Thomas Boyette (Mignon); his niece Teresa Young; and his great-nephew Afton Aldrich. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
