He was predeceased by: his parents, James B. Mason and Emily Riner Mason. He is survived by: his wife Mary Evelyn "Mamie" Mason of Shellman Bluff; his sons, Jim (Audra Mason) and Tim (Stefanie Mason); his grandchildren, Wess Mason (Mary) of Shellman Bluff, Calissa Mason, Emma Mason of Swainsboro and Ashton Mason of Mitchell; his great grandchildren, Caleb Mason and Laurie James Mason; and his brothers, Bobby Mason of Swainsboro and Bill Mason of Swainsboro. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
