We are sad to announce that on July 13, 2025, at the age of 50, Jonathan David Waters (Swainsboro, Georgia), born in Metter, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Jonathan David is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Jonathan David's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his father Johnny W. Waters; his stepfather Hugh Peterson Martin; and his grandparents, J. D. Waters, Louise Waters, J. D. Beckworth and Bertha Downs Beckworth.
He is survived by: his mother Margie Martin; his sister Tammy S. Brown of Swainsboro, GA; and his stepsiblings, Angie Martin Smith (Miles) and Chuck Martin of Augusta. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Swainsboro First Church of the Nazarene (319 W Main St, Swainsboro, GA 30401).
