We are sad to announce that, on March 4, 2026, at the age of 83, Joy Sconyers Nasworthy of Swainsboro, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Grady "Pete" and Sallie Lee Brinson Sconyers; her former husband Gerald Y. Chapman; and her siblings, Douglas Sconyers, Inez Sheets, Grace Holton and Hazel Nasworthy.
She is survived by: her husband Woody Nasworthy of Swainsboro; her daughters, Tracy Chapman (Robert Renfroe) and Heather Cowart (Wes); and her grandson Levi Cowart.
