She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Jersey and Lola Baker Jersey; and her siblings, Richard Jersey, Jr. and Deborah Branch Washburn. She is survived by: her husband Marvin Glenn Hancock of Swainsboro; her children, Joe Holaway (Christy) of Swainsboro, April Griffith of Gordon, Rose Gray of Leslie, MI, Kevin Hancock of Fitzgerald, Brandi Hancock Hallman (Gary) of Ft. Valley and Nikki Hancock Purser (Stephen) of Cochran; and her brother Bill Jersey of Statesville, NC.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calvary Methodist Church (421 S Main St, Swainsboro, GA 30401). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at the Forest Lawn Cemetery.
