He was predeceased by: his parents, L. C. Phillips and Annie Ruth Phillips; his grandparents, Randolph and Estella Phillips; and his sister Betty Ware.
He is survived by: his children, Tremayne Phillips (Shikita) of Soperton, GA, Kassidi Phillips-Shivers (Kalup) of Elgin, SC, Sierra Wadley of Atlanta, GA and Verlon Wadley of Swainsboro, GA.; his uncles, Ralph Phillips (Doris) of Stillmore, GA, Wilbert Phillips (Delois), Cleve Phillips (Annie Laura) and Meady Phillips; and his nephews, Nakia Phillips of Swainsboro, GA and Charles Fields Jr. of Swainsboro, GA. He is also survived by cousins and special friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Sunday, May 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church (595 Nunez Lexsy Rd, Swainsboro, GA 30401).
