It is with sadness that the passing of Lawrence Hare of Swainsboro, Georgia is shared. Lawrence, born on March 5, 1945, passed away on September 24, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Lawrence will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Lawrence by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Lawrence is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Lawrence’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his mother Lula Bell Turner Hare; and his wife Elizabeth Saunders Hare. He is survived by: his son Wyman Hare (Lori) of Cleveland; his stepchildren, Steve Roth (Tina) of Dover, Ohio and Amy Blalock of Swainsboro; his grandchildren, Logan Hare, Emma Hare, Amanda Blalock, Mason Blalock and Cheyenne Blalock; and his great grandchildren, Jazzalyn Jackson and Abbigail Hernandez.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Dellwood Baptist Church (1697 US-1, Swainsboro, GA 30401).
