She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Poole and Hilda Braddy Poole. She is survived by: her husband David Kent of Swainsboro; her daughter Kathy Jones (Bryan) of Swainsboro; and her grandchildren, Tori Dear of Swainsboro, Hunter Jones of Swainsboro and Hannah Anderson (Andrew) of Swainsboro.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home (718 S Main St, Swainsboro, GA 30401). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (204 W Main St, Swainsboro, GA 30401).
