It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Lue Kirkland of Swainsboro, Georgia, who passed away on July 19, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Mary may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She is survived by: her daughters, Eva (Strobridge) of Nunez and Mary Bright (Georgia) of Nunez; her daughter-in-law Frances Kirkland; her sons, Lloyd Kirkland, Jr. (George Kirkland) of Swainsboro and Michael Kirkland (Georgia) of Vidalia; her siblings, Catheline McMillen (Larry), Annie Lue Key, Sherry Diane Brinson and George Brinson Jr.; and also Clifford Young of Swainsboro, Georgia..
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mosley's Funeral Home Chapel (342 N Coleman St, Swainsboro, GA 30401). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Phillip Church.
