He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray G. Sutherland and Sara Carstarphen Sutherland; and his brother David Sutherland. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Sutherland of Swainsboro; his daughters, Kayla Vaughn (Jay) of Swainsboro and Kelly Logan (Stone) of Swainsboro; his grandchildren, Jacob Sutherland, Kayden Sutherland, Elijah Vaughn, Preston Logan, Wyatt Logan and Clayton Logan; his brother Smokey Sutherland (Lydia) of Macon; and his close friends, Hollis Eastman (Tina), Isaiah Danielly, Leah'Ana Eastman, Rilee Eastman and Kaylani Danielly. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapman Funeral Home (427 N Main St, Swainsboro, GA 30401). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Dellwood Baptist Church (1697 US-1, Swainsboro, GA 30401). A burial was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at the Eastbrook Cemetery (1082 US-80, Swainsboro, GA 30401).
