With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shannondora Thompson of Swainsboro, Georgia, born in Augusta, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 3, 2025 at the age of 54. She was predeceased by: her father Robert Bruce Witmore, Jr.. She is survived by: her son Steven; her daughter-in-law Hannah Way of Adrian; her mother Mary John Witmore of Swainsboro; her siblings, Randy Witmore of California, John Wayne Witmore (Kim) of Milledgeville and Robin Way (Tommy) of Swainsboro; her nieces and nephews, Patrick Shane Hall, Shawn Ryan Hall and Kayla Marie Way; and her grandsons, Emory Thomas Way and Emmett Lee Way.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Chapman Funeral Home (427 N Main St, Swainsboro, GA 30401). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 at the Will Follow Funeral Services (827 Antioch Church Rd, Twin City, GA 30471).
