She was predeceased by: her parents, William L. Johnson (Willie) and Carrie Lou Johnson; and her siblings, William, Carlton Johnson, Debbie Brown and Carolyn Hooks.
She is survived by: her husband Lamar Boatright; her children, Adam Boatright (Telisha) of Dellwood, GA and Holly Beecher (Jim) of Oak Park, GA.; her grandchildren, Olivia Jean Boatright, Hudson Beecher, Sarah Beth Beecher, Drayton Beatty, Nezzie Beatty and Abigayle Smith; and her siblings, Faye Parrish (James), Ronnie Gene Johnson (Judy) and Calvin Johnson (Angel).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hawhammock Missionary Baptist Church (240 W Main St, Swainsboro, GA 30401). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Sue's honor.
