She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Mason and Thelma Faircloth Mason; and her siblings, Sandra, Faye, Deborah and Tracy.
She is survived by: her son Bobby Godwin (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Chelsea Godwin and Brandon Godwin; her brothers, Larry Durden and Leonard Mason; and her brother-in-law Malone. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made payable to American Legion Post 90, P.O. Box 443, Statesboro, GA 30459, where the love of her life, her son, volunteers tirelessly serving veterans and the local community.
