He is survived by: his children, Krystal Reed and Amos Reed Jr. (Jessica); his siblings, Robert Reed Jr., Thomas Reed of Greenport, NY, Charlie Reed, Mae Frances Reed and Gwen Ward; and his grandchildren, Jaquavious Reed, Terriona, Johnson, A'miracle Reed, Terrence, Johnson Jr., Amos Reed III, Elijah Reed, Christian Daughtry, Javontae Reed and Jameria Reed.
